Message from the 2025-26 AASU Presidents
From our origins in 1993 to today, AASU has been committed to promoting awareness of Asian American issues and history at UF. Our strength comes in numbers. The support from our sub-organizations, programs, and affiliates has fostered collective change to better our community. With our newly established Department of Advocacy, we’re more committed than ever to strengthening our voices, actions, and impact here on campus. The steps we’ve taken so far have been challenging, but this just means we’re prepared for the journey ahead.
Whether this is your first year at UF or it’s your last, we want to see you at our events! Last year, we served pasta and lobster at our language workshop and jumped in bounce houses at our CRASH extravaganza. This year, there’s so much more in store, and we can’t wait to see you there!
-Jasmine Lo and Zachary Tenn Yuk, 2025-26 AASU Co-Presidents
